“ Gyro George is about an hour from my house since I live near Kent State University. But I was in the area and for some reason the building and the sign caught my attention. I'm glad it did. The food was fantastic. The service was unbelievably fast. A full size gyro was about 12. I doubt if I'll be in the neighborhood again, but if I am I'll definitely get another gyro. ”

“ My boyfriend is from Cleveland and I'm from way down in Southwest Ohio. I've never had a gyro before so he took me. There was steady service and it took us less than ten minutes to receive our order. They aren't having dine-in right now and the seating for meals has been blocked off. We didn't mind because we wanted take out anyway. My chicken gyro was hot and delicious with fresh veggies on top. There was plenty of big chunks of chicken that was perfectly cooked and although it was messy (nothing wrong with that) I thoroughly enjoyed it and I want another on our next visit. ”

“ UPDATE: COVID was a hit or a miss for some establishments. They have stepped up they're game at this one! Now the decor is more like a Cracker Barrel. Food is still short order, good and plenty of it. The service was very good. Worth it! Definitely moved up to a five star for me. Preferred by the Jones family. 2018: 3 The food is good and generally the staff is in a decent mood. My only complaint is that the potatoes could be season more. 2025: They are still on point food wise. The atmosphere is still got and bright. Plenty of food for your money! ”
“ Whenever I am in Cleveland visiting my grandfather, he brings and treats the whole family here. We are always full and satisfied! We've ordered, burgers, gyros, breakfast, chili dogs...you name it!..and have always had so much food we need a to go tray. The staff are always friendly too. Update: My grandfather recently passed away...Our family will miss him dearly and hold the great memories in our hearts ... thanks Famous Gyro George for the great meals and memorable times we shared with our grandfather at your establishment... ”
